‘American Idol Season 8′ Top 10 Results Out
So, here comes the American Idol Top 10 results for Season 8! Do you have any idea who left American Idol Season 8 and went home? No? Well, the American Idol results show on 18th March was such an exciting show, where you would have experienced numerous nail-biting moments. It was as excited as gala shows, but there was a bit of nervousness about ‘who-is-going-to-be-out’ of remaining 11 contestants!
American Idol’s very own host, Ryan Seacrest opened the show with the announcement that American viewers contributed incredible 31 million votes, which would finally decide the Top 10 contestants. But, before the announcement of the Top 10, there was a group performance by the 11 contestants. It was definitely a mind-blowing start of the show with ‘Trouble.’
After that, the viewers were treated with a sneak-peek of contestants’ signing off on the results night, along with a footage of a goodbye dinner for Jasmine Murray and Jorge Nunez, the first two contestants who were voted out of American Idol Season 8.
Now, you might be more interested to know who got kicked off American Idol Top 11! Or, who are the 10 contestants going on tour! Oh, the results time was undeniably a nerve-racking time. You could imagine how the contestants would have passed some stressful moments. It was apparent on their faces! Their worried faces would tell you everything!
The first contestant who made it to the tour was Danny Gokey. It was expected indeed! With him, the audience took a deep breath. But, immediately they got ready to witness the next name. Then, host Ryan came up with the names Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai. Out? No, they were safe! The anxious contestants Michael Sarver and Allison Iraheta found themselves in the bottom three. Not expected?
Oh, the situation got so heavy. While some of the contestants were safe, and some were still in the dilemma whether they were in or out, there came a break. It was time for Brad Paisley to perform. In a way it was good to cheer up the tensed contestants, but did they (especially the ones with dilemma) actually enjoy the performance?
It’s time for more results! This time, Scott MacIntyre was first to be announced safe, followed by Megan Joy Corkrey, Matt Giraud and Kris Allen. Then, the mentor of the show, and country legend and Grand Ole Opry star Randy Travis announced Adam Lambert safe. Once again, one more contestant found himself in the bottom three. It was Alexis Grace. In the meanwhile, Ryan announced Allison Iraheta (one of the bottom three) safe.
Thus, it was quite clear that either Michael Sarver or Alexis Grace had to say goodbye to American Idol Season 8. But, before the final announcement, there was an another performance by Carrie Underwood and Randy Travis. Need not say, it was good!
Ahh! the viewers were to witness the hardest part of any reality show! But, before that Ryan asked the judges if they would consider using judges’ save to either of Michael and Alexis. Pat came the reply from Simon Cowell that they would consider using it for one of them! However, before the judges would save, the announcement came that Michael Sarver was safe! Means, Alexis Grace was out.
But, Simon said that Alexis was the one for whom they were thinking of using their save. Thus, it would all depend on her especial performance. But, after the performance, judges came up with the result that Alexis was out only!
Stay tuned to American Idol Season 8. The next week’s theme is 50 years of Motown. It’s going to be more fun!
