Beyonce Knowles created a controversy when she said that she makes records for black people. The result of this statement was that sales for her new album, 'B'Day' have fallen by 70% in United States.

Beyonce said in an interview with Blender magazine "I make black records. I write records like I speak, and I don't try to change my songs so everyone else likes them."

The singer also admitted that she can relate to celebrities who attack the paparazzi. Beyonce said: "It must be really scary to have your children in front of all these people. That's your kids. That's when Mama Knowles is gonna' be punching some photographers!"

A US court recently rejected an allegation against single Beyonce Knowles. Singer-songwriter Jennifer Armour had alleged that Beyonce copied lyrics from her track, 'Got a Little Bit of Love for You', for singer's 2003 hit 'Baby Boy.'

Beyonce's fans, of course, do not believe the claim. According to Jennifer Armour, her former manager had sent a demo recording of the song to Columbia Records.. However, the judge ruled that songs were “substantially dissimilar.”

Beyonce Knowles commented about the incident: “It’s unfortunate that lawsuits such as this one occur, but I am grateful and relieved to have this behind me and I am eager to move on.” Jennifer was not available for comment after this.

This R 'n' B queen revealed that she had always wanted to learn how to perform ballet on pointe.. But she was never quite able to capture the technique. . “I went to have lessons… and I’m thinking, ‘I dance, I’ll be able to hang’. So I didn’t tell anybody it was me, I went and got on my tights, I walked in and I was completely embarrassed. I was horrible, terrible… I’m too old…You have to start when you’re, like, five years old”. She told Associated Press. The singer shared that she wants to learn Arabic, learn how to skydive and how to cook.

Beyonce is currently dating Jay-Z, whose recent gig was full of surprises. First Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin joined Jay-Z at the Royal Albert Hall. Chris handled piano and also sang 'Heart of the City,' along side Jay-Z. Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, also bought his mother Gloria Carter with him. Next Gwyneth provided backing vocals on 'Song Cry'. Last but not the least, girlfriend Jay-Z also joined him on stage to perform 'Crazy in Love' and 'Déjà Vu’. To add to all these surprises, Jay-Z was accompanied by a 25-piece orchestra. The audiences were quite delighted at the astounding performance.

The versatile singer, who turned 25 recently, revealed that she still gets jealous of other peoples’ music. A magazine reporter recently quoted her saying: “When I hear a great new record, especially when it’s by someone that I respect and admire, then a part of me is like, “Why didn’t I think of that? Why didn’t I write that record? It makes you sick, but in a way it can be a great thing. It makes you want to go back to the lab and start writing again. Maybe it will inspire you to try a little harder.”

Knowles' name was booed at the MOBO awards in London when she did not turn up to collect her three awards. Beyonce received the most awards after her single 'Déjà Vu' won the Best
Song and Best Video categories. She was also named Best International Female at the ceremony.
