Anyway, whether or not it is a little or a lot higher, it is interesting to look at why. There are hundreds upon thousands of reasons that marriages fail, and it is rare that any marriage is ended for the exact same reason than another. But, I believe there are 3 main reasons that celebrity marriages fail:

1. Love Triangles from movies: Brad Pitt & Jennifer Aniston were the epitome of the perfect couple - then he started filming Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Enter Angelina Jolie and say goodbye to Jennifer.

2. The paparazzi stories. It is difficult enough to trust your partner when they are traveling all the time and when time together is hard to come by but when the entire gossip world is telling stories that your significant other is cheating…it can be almost impossible.

3. Great careers vs. fledgling careers. In the real world, it isn’t strange to see only one person in the couple working. Or one that makes more than the other. And, while this can put a strain on a relationship, imagine the life of 2 celebrities in very different places in their career. For example: Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe. Although they both worked, she was significantly more successful than he was. So, he found someone new, someone who made less money than he did and said goodbye to his successful wife.

I’m not saying these are the only 3 reasons that marriages end, but they are definitely 3 of the reasons we see most often. I wish that I could say I was surprised that the marriages don’t last, but I don’t really believe that the celebs think marriages are that serious. The whole ’til death do us part’ seems to be forgotten amidst the life and lights of fame.

A raven-haired beauty, Angelina Jolie will be seen in the role of a young mother whose journalist husband is kidnapped and killed in the upcoming movie “A Mighty Heart.” The movie is inspired by the true story of Mariane and Daniel Pearl. The movie started shooting in India (http://in.news.yahoo.com/061010/139/68czw.html) this week. It tells the story of Daniel Pearl, who was snatched and beheaded by Islamic terrorists in 2002, and his wife Mariane, who was pregnant when her husband was abducted. Mariane has said she is thrilled the Tomb Raider star is playing her in the film. "I’m delighted Angelina Jolie will be playing my role. I deeply admire her work," she said.

This naturally beautiful, eccentric, and highly intelligent actress has won the hearts of millions with her “bold and beautiful” role in Laura Croft-Tomb Raider. She questions what goes on around her and she’s not afraid to be sexual. Not to mention, she’s a great actress and she proved her mettle time and time again with movies like Gia and The Bone Collector. She speaks her mind and that is what sets her apart from crowd. "I need more sex, okay? Before I die I want to “taste everyone in the world."

Taking a break from shooting, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went on an auto-rickshaw ride with their son Maddox in western India’s Pune town recently. But the famous celebrity couple had to alter their plans because photographers, cameramen and reporters, were chasing them – forcing them to turn back after a 20-minute ride that took them past shops and department stores in downtown Pune. In the meanwhile several traffic signals slowed their short rickshaw ride. At every red light, security men who were traveling in another rickshaw, would jump out and surrounded the three-wheeler to stop the media from taking pictures of Pitt and Jolie. The couple finally had to return to the Le Meridian hotel where they have been staying.

In the chase to photograph  of the two hot stars, two fans on a motorbike skid and fell on the busy road while tailing the couple. None of the young people were injured. All this took place, even though security had been tightened since their arrival in Pune by private jet when they arrive in India along with their children Maddox, 5, Zahara, 18 months, and Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, 4 months. Earlier Saturday one of their bodyguards grabbed a British photographer by the neck as he tried to take their picture at the hotel, and this incident was caught on video by an Indian television station.

In the meantime, Angelina seems to be happy with the love and recognition that they received in India, "We deeply appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the people of Pune, India, where we are filming “A Mighty Heart," Jolie was quoted by People magazine as saying. “We are excited to have this chance for our children to learn about India’s wonderful culture and history," she added

Pitt and Jolie are reportedly scheduled to start shooting scenes for "A Mighty Heart," at a bungalow in suburban Pune, 160 kilometers (100 miles) south of Mumbai. The movie is based on an adaptation of Mariane Pearl’s book, "A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl," and is co-produced by Plan B. This production company was founded by Pitt and his ex-wife actress Jennifer Aniston.
